Segundo uma página alemã foi renomeado para IL-2 Sturmovik - Cliffs of Dover - sera lançado em 24 de março de 2011 e o distribuidor sera a UBI (

Este nome IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover já havia sido anunciado na Igromir 2010 para o mercado russo e cia.
Observe que as páginas linkadas oferecendo em pre-ordem são todas daquelas bandas.
Parece que semana que vem a UBISoft (#$%#$%#^&) deve anunciar a versão ocidental, é provavel que usem o marketing do nome IL-2 Sturmovik - afinal são 10 anos no mercado.
A esta altura não vão mudar muita coisa no projeto.
Agora, que capa de DVD mais fajuta esta que tem sido mostrada:
Escudo da RAF errado, Bf-109 com tanques na fuselagem pegando fogo na asa, desenhos parecendo cartoon de terceira...
A contra capa então... Fotos manjadas do desenvolvimento... Cadê as grandes formações de He-111 simbolo da BoB?
Perde feio para o Wings of Prey, Birds of Prey.
FIY - Com o lançamento inicial só havera campanha offline pela RAF, a campanha da Luftwaffe fica prometida para "two months"...
(#$%#$%#^&) Por causa da UBISoft o destino dos simuladores WWII tomou o rumo que tomou. Um IL-2 Pacific as gerações atuais não verão...

Ah, finalmente!!! Quanto tempo? 5 anos? Se não falaram "two weeks" é porque vai rolar mesmo.
Olha, me importa é o conteúdo. É que nem bon-bon, você come ele e não o celofane e pelo o que vimos de imagens e alguns vídeos nas sextas-feiras, tá duca. Com certeza depois do lançamento terão patches de correção e tal. Achei o nome Cliffs of Dover bastante sugestivo, afinal foi naquela área que o pau comeu. Já estou me imaginando no pit do Spit em vôo rasante beirando os cliffs, se bem que eles tem que tirar aquele monte de árvores da praia e deixar só a cascalhada e as algas.
