Are the wishes of Aerosoft and Thunderworks. We have accomplished a lot in 2010. For example, in the 2 to 3 months following our signing with Aerosoft, we added the following features:
- Clickable cockpits with animated switches
- Several HUD modes for the Harrier, including Reversionary mode
- Gunsight with depression settings, set wingspan, range etc
- New clouds method, able to render cloud formations at up to 120km distance with very little overhead (previous method was limited by sector size, causing severe pop up artifacts, and so was replaced)
- Cockpit self-shadows
- Time of day 24hrs simulation (displaying constellations at night, etc)
- New and improved models for several types of Anti-Aircraft units used in the 1982 conflict
- New AI helicopters
...and more; effectively setting JT firmly in the track of being a realistic sim focused in a specific public (true flight simmers of course!)
Sokol1How realistic is it? it looks like they're putting great amount of detail into the visuals. How about realism? (FM, armament, systems)
Always hard to answer. See a fighter pilot is a very bright, highly trained, fully focused (being shot at helps with that) person with a massive support staff behind him. I personally would be a rather typical customer and I am not any of those things. So compromises have to be made. But still, you can start up the aircraft using the actual checklist, the flight models are rather accurate (though a real Harrier takes a LONG time to master), you have to communicate with other parties like the deck commanders, troops on the ground, weapons are accurate. It's NOT a game, it's a full blown SIM. You WILL need some time to learn how to fly each aircraft and there are six in total to use).

Hello people.
updatewise:
Just implemented a keymapper in game. So there ought to be no limit to what controllers you can attach.
I've been recently programming the suspension to animate when compressed. Previously they were locked in position and the wheels didn't use to turn either. Now they do which is nice to look at.
Dante will no doubt put up a clip soon.
